MINI BAJA ADVENTURE
Our Mini Baja is blacked out on occasion due to the fact that because the same area is used by several off-road racing organizations such as SNORE, SCORE, MRAN, and Best in the Desert. This is our most advanced adventure. It is fast-paced and not tailored for the weak at heart. In 90 minutes you will travel somewhere between 10 and 35 miles over what is described as very aggressive and challenging terrain. This is not a roller coaster ride-if you aim at the big rocks you will probably hit them. You are required to wear a full face helmet and a 4-point harness at all times on the course. Typically 1 and 2 seat buggies.
NELLIS DUNE ADVENTURE
This adventure is also at the Nellis Dunes and is very exhilarating but is set at a more leisurely pace with most of the 90 minutes being in the sand dunes. You will stop at Look Out Dune and rattle snake cliffs and see the Las Vegas Strip clearly, as well as Lake Mead off in the distance. If you ask the guide he will take you to the Firestone Race of Champions course and guide you through a lap. You will traverse dry river beds in excess of 20 feet deep. If you have a nice camera, don't bring it. A disposable camera is a much better idea. Typically 1, 2, 4, and 5 seat buggies.
VALLEY OF FIRE ADVENTURE
The area you'll be riding in has been featured by numerous magazines as one of the top off-road riding areas in the United States. This wonder of nature can only be described as breathtaking. While you will occasionally encounter Big Horn sheep and other wildlife, the Valley of Fire is world renowned for its beautiful rock formations and red sand (it really is red, not bright brown.) If you are a trekkie you will recognize many of the early Star Trek sets. Yes, you can go to the land of Kirk and Spock. However teleporting is out of the question!
Both the State of Nevada and the BLM are very protective of the fragile environment and the delicate ecosystem. It is a common misconception that the desert is indestructible. This is far from the case and the governing authorities want you to have an enjoyable adventure, however there is a distinct need to tread lightly and observe the posted speed limits and no access zones. We at Sun Buggy take great pride in being the only approved dune buggy rental operation and fully support the tread lightly program.
This is definitely the place to see if you want to take photos. This area offers an unparalleled spectrum of beauty and is truly a wonder of nature. AMARGOSA (BIG DUNE) ADVENTURE
Aptly named, these dunes exceed 500 feet in height and are absolute breathtaking in their immensity. This site is 2 hours from the Strip and comes in custom pre-booked excursion form. This trip requires a minimum of four persons and is normally 3 to 4 hours of seat time.
You can also arrange for a 24-hour adventure where we have you rent (over the phone) a motor home which we pick up and provision for you. We then pick you up at your resort and shuttle you to the site where your motorhome awaits you. We send out a trail boss, not to be confused as a guide. As you can elect on this trip to venture out into the dunes unaccompanied. This excursion usually starts late afternoon and goes until the following afternoon. The camp fire and smores are included! ADVENTURE INFORMATION
Reservations are recommended for all adventures. Free shuttle service is included for all of our adventures. The minimum passenger age is 4 years old. Drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver's license (ATV 18 years old). Sun Buggy Fun Rentals operates 365 days a year.

- Duration of adventure: 2.5 hours seat time, total adventure time is 5 to 6 hours.
AMARGOSA
- Departure times: 6:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. Duration of adventure: 4.0 hours seat time, total adventure time is 8 hours.
