Sun Buggy Fun Rentals is the premier off road adventure provider with a variety of options from casual scenic rides to a full on desert racing school. Our instructors will give you insight not only into how to drive a desert racer but also into why various design decisions are made in the construction of our cars. Our classes start with a wild ride on the Nellis Dunes Mini-Baja.

Stage I Class - Nellis Mini-Baja - introduces you to the world of custom built off road racers at the Nellis Dunes right on the edge of town where you can see the Las Vegas strip on the horizon. This chase the instructor adventure lets you get the feel for off road racing and teaches you how to tackle various types of terrain.

Stage II Class - Amargosa Big Dunes - gives you faster vehicles with more open terrain to let you traverse the Big Dunes at Amargosa. Amargosa boasts the tallest sand dunes in North America and as such this class teaches you about inertia and sand dunes.

Stage III Class - Dumont - has you take the wheel of a high powered racer which with your stage I and stage II training you're now able to tame. This class is held at Dumont where there's even more room to run. The Stage 3 class is more about refining your stage I and II basic skills with a larger faster and more powerful car. Dumont has the room to really open it up and achieve speeds you couldn't see in the first 2 classes, and this leads to the main focus of stage III which is high speed vehicle dynamics.

Stage IV Class - Jump School - You've done the earthbound thing, traversed all kinds of different desert terrain, now it's time to leave the ground. Jumping a buggy isn't just about going over a hill fast, there's real technique involved which you'll learn in this class to make sure you return to earth is a graceful one.

Classes are sequential meaning you'll need to qualify and complete each level before moving on to the next level. You may repeat any class you've taken as many times as you wish, but may not skip classes. Class sizes are kept small so individual attention is assured.
